Our annual gala is our primary source of funding for our scholarship and school programs.  We sincerely hope you will consider attending.  We have great food, music and wine planned for our event.  Music is provided by Dysfunkshun Junkshun, one of the top Austin cover bands.

Last year we awarded 6 scholarships to high school students continuing in the arts. We also provided 9 alumni scholarships to those that were previously our high school recipients and met our requirements.  With this year’s scholarships we have now supported 5 scholarship recipients for each of their college years.  Over $150,000 has been awarded to very deserving students.  To read more about our scholars, please visit here.

Please note some new changes for our gala’s use of technology:

If you elect to cover our service fees, which we have minimized through the use of this technology, then 100% of your donations will be realized by Spicewood Arts.

Our new website platform is provided by Betterworld.org.  As a non-profit organization, they will ask for a donation in support of the services they provide to non-profit organizations like ours.  This is completely voluntary.  Since betterworld.org is also a nonprofit organization, their fees will also be tax deductible should you choose to cover some or all of their suggested fees.

We have selected a very secure technology solution and recommend that you allow the system to store your credit card information for purposes of this event only.  By doing so, you will be helping facilitate an easier method of purchasing tickets, basket raffles and heads & tail tickets as you navigate through our campaigns.  Additionally, this will allow for a near seamless check in and check out process.
