Ian Moore Band
Friday, March 15, 2024
Doors open @ 6:00 p.m. Performance starts at 7 p.m.
$50 per ticket
Ian Moore (born August 8, 1968) is a guitarist and singer-songwriter from Austin, Texas. He studied fiddle as a child but switched to guitar when wrist problems interfered. His music contains elements of folk, rock and roll, world music, and blues. Covers include Jimmy Cliff’s “Many Rivers to Cross”, the Beatles’ “Hey Bulldog,” and Bob Dylan’s “You’re a Big Girl Now.” He has played with such musicians as the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, and ZZ Top, and appeared in Billy Bob Thornton’s movie Sling Blade.
Bob Dylan said it best: He who is not busy being born is busy dying. Singer, songwriter, and guitarist Ian Moore lives and creates by that precept. And his new album on Justice Records, To Be Loved, vividly displays the artistic benefits of doing so.

Reckless Kelly is an American country rock band. The heartland gave the band authenticity. Musical lives honed its skill. Adversity instilled its persistence. Moving to Austin gave it wings to fly. As kids, the Brauns – Cody, Willy, Micky, and Gary – shared a stage with the likes of Johnny Cash, Glen Campbell, and Merle Haggard. Cody and Willy branched out adding great musicians and formed Reckless Kelly.
They are ready to get off the road where they have been performing over 200 shows per year. 2024 & 2025 will be pre-retirement and they will only be playing 35 shows per year. They are excited for one of those to be for us in Spicewood, TX.
