We are excited to announce that we have two volunteers, Gayl Hubatch and Peter Zeismann, that have agreed to begin the planning for this much-loved event. The Spicewood Arts Festival will remain a free juried art celebration. While this event was historically held on the last weekend of October, our returned Arts Festival will be held in April 2024. This will be a one-day juried art festival keeping some very treasured traditions such as artists presenting many types of art, including paintings, wood carving, metal art, jewelry, and pottery. As before, we will have bands and choirs performing throughout the festival. Food and drinks will be available. Stay tuned for more detailed information coming soon.
Areas of help needed:
- Selecting artists from applications
- Welcoming artists on the day of
- Helping with the hospitality tent
- Welcoming our guests and selling raffle tickets to win free tickets to one or more of our performances
- Helping with set up and tear down
- And many other tasks…
